JADE | Joint Action addressing DEmentia and HEALTH
The ultimate objective of JADE Health is to minimize the adverse effects of Dementia and enhance early detection. This will be achieved by making 44 pilots available throughout the participating Member States. The project is funded by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA).

The overarching objective of JADE Health aims to improve prevention, early detection and management of dementia and other neurological disorders, thus reducing health inequalities and addressing the needs of vulnerable population.

The project is committed to supporting individuals living with dementia or other neurological disorders by fostering early intervention and improving education. Furthermore, JADE Health seeks to elevate societal awareness of dementia by providing targeted education to relatives, care professionals, and other key stakeholders.Early detection
This will be achieved through evidence-based exchange of best practices to ensure sustainability, placing a strong emphasis on prevention and early detection and involves the implementation of a new diagnosis and treatment model leveraging cutting-edge technology to address dementia across its entire spectrum, from preventive measures and early detection strategies to treatment options and the development of effective public policies, in order to improve the quality of life of both the sick persons and their environment.

JADE Health consortium is involving 47 entities of 17 European countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Slovenia Spain and Ukraine).

More than 2,000,000 citizens will be reached to increase awareness and reduce the stigma associated with these diseases. The Joint Action (JA) aims to combine the transfer and implementation of the most effective practices with the support provided to Competent Authorities, policymakers, and other relevant organizations.

The JA is coordinated by the FUNDACION PARA LA FORMACION E INVESTIGACION DE LOS PROFESIONALES DE LASALUD DE EXTREMADURA (FUNDESALUD), Spain.

Sustainability action plans will be implemented to ensure the continued use of JADE Health results after the JA period ends. The aim is also to expand the use of the results and good practices in other clinical settings within the Member States.
